Homer (Belushi) and Eddie (Goldberg) are the ultimate odd-ball couple, both out of money, luck and brains! The neat and tidy Homer is in for the education of a lifetime when he meets Eddie, an endearing foul-mouthed freak, fresh out of a Psycho ward with a uniquely drastic way of solving problems. They meet when she finds the out of luck Homer, "roughing it" in the back of her car, and she quickly mugs him and beats him up. After this setback, the two soon develop an odd friendship as they set out together in search of their long lost families.
