Panic! At The Disco are a 4-piece from Las Vegas. Straight out of high school, they have created a unique sound of blending melody driven rock with dance. The album is very much a concept album divided into two halves: the first being futuristic, complete with drum machines and synthesizers, the second being nostalgic, complete with vaudevillian piano and accordian... a very carnivalesque atmosphere.

Ultima Ratio Regum. The final conversation that comes when there’s nothing left to say. “We have spent the best part of the last year crafting what will become this record. It sounds so clichéd but I really feel that we’re finally finding our own voice as songwriters and producing the most exciting music that we ever have."
'Chimney's afire' is the cry whalers of yesteryear made when they harpooned a whale and a plume of blood and water spurted out of its blowhole into the air. "It's a horrifying, brutal image, but the actual language is evocative and quite amazing," says Josh Pyke of the title of his new album, the follow-up to his ARIA Award winning debut 'Memories & Dust'.
'Only By The Night' is a bold and expansive sonic statement that looks set to solidify Kings of Leon's position as one of the most important international acts of 2008 and beyond.
