Alongside Nicholson, THE SHOOTING stars Warren Oates, a cowboy in search of his missing brother, who, along with a frazzled young companion are lead by a beautiful but demanding woman on a mysterious search without destination. Written by and starring Jack Nicholson, RIDE IN THE WHIRWIND follows a trio of innocent cowboys who unknowingly camp near a brigade of outlaws, and are mistakenly dogged by the blind vengeance of an angry posse.
