It's been a long time since Australia has heard from ABBY DOBSON. Most would know her from her time with DEAN MANNING fronting LEANARDO'S BRIDE, who's gold selling album 'Angel Blood' featured the single 'Even When I'm Sleeping'. That song holds true anthemic status in Australian music, winning APRA Song Of The Year and later being voted in APRA's Top 20 Australian Songs Of All Time. After taking a break and helping some of her friends with their projects, Abby decided to work on her own debut solo album, and the time spent in germination fulfils her vision of the record she's always wanted to make. The list of people who were keen to work with her is beyond impressive. Production is handled by ROBERT F. CRANNY (SARAH BLASKO's musical partner) and TONY BUCHEN (MACROMANTICS, KID CONFUCIUS), the album was engineered by PHIL PUNCH at Electric Avenue & CHRIS TOWNEND at Big Jesus Burger (SLEEPY JACKSON, SILVERCHAIR, PAUL KELLY, YOUTH GROUP, THE VINES) and mixed by PAUL MCKERCHER (AUGIE MARCH, YOU AM I, LITTLE BIRDY).
