BE YOURSELF was conceived and recorded in Nashville with her hand-picked team which includes veteran country-rock producer Michael Clute (Diamond Rio, Faith Hill, Alabama) and will be released on Melinda's own label, Be Music. "This album feels like I'm taking control of my life for the first time," Melinda says. "I've co-written all the songs, chosen them myself, funded it myself. It was my vision completely." Be Yourself comes on the heels of Melinda's nomination for Song of the Year at the Americana Music Awards, and a duet of her song, Courageous, which features on Olivia Newton John's album, "Songs Of Hope And Inspiration." Melinda's original version of the inspirational track 'Courageous' and a heartbreaking duet with Paul Kelly on the song 'Still Here'.
