Largely written in a remote cabin deep in the Norwegian woods by Satyr in collaboration with his old friend Snorre Ruch (of Thorns, himself a legendary figure in the history of Norwegian extreme metal), it features eight of the heaviest songs not only in Satryicon's, but in metal's history.

BLACK SYMPHONY

Their most ambitious staging to date, Black Symphony is a a LIMITED 2CD/2DVd set capturing a unique concert at Rotterdam’s Ahoy Arena on February 7, 2008. Sold out months in advance, Within Temptation performed to 10,000 fans with the 60-piece Metropole Orchestra and a 20-voice classical choir, as well as on-stage stilt performers, costume changes, and an array of stunning pyrotechnic and lighting effects.

Survive, Kaleidoscope (CD & DVD)

Underoath's new live CD and DVD, is titled "Survive, Kaleidoscope". The CD features eleven songs from both "Define The Great Line" and "They're Only Chasing Safety" performed on tour dates across the country. Likewise, the DVD showcases those songs in a full live set from the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, PA presented in 16:9 widescreen.

DEATH MAGNETIC (DIGIPAK)

The Digipak features a dye cut throughout the middle of the digipak to give a 3D effect to the coffin in the ground design Death Magnetic, at least the title, to me started out as kind of a tribute to people that have fallen in our business, like Layne Staley and a lot of the people that have died, basically — rock and roll martyrs of sorts. - James Hetfield
