Nick on 25.05.2012 The hard drive itself is fine and doesn't miss a beat.Have bought many of these over the years and only failure was my fault. (Accident).Anyway, to the case. The hard drive can make a clicking sound similar to one that is failing. It is NOT failing. There is a problem with the external case & power supply, NOT the hard drive itself, so just take it out & use as internal HDD. Cheaper buying this way too.Check internet to confirm this. |
