Very powerful, great screen, nice keyboard, easy setup. Hi quality graphics card, large HD, matt finish on touchable surfaces (thank god), sound average, quiet, No BT but eSata, HDMI, Wireless N. Looks & feels like a premium package. JB looked after me price wise so got a great laptop with top service V Happy.

Reasonable all-rounder

This is a well-built machine, and has a quite nice lid. However, the keyboard leaves a little to be desired, mostly in the way of the VERY laggy shift key. Also, the interior panel around the trackpad gets really sweaty really quickly. And on the topic of the trackpad, it has WAAAAY too much friction with your fingers. The USB ports have too muchh grip - it can be hard to find a happy medium between not pulling hard enough to remove a USB or pulling so hard that the USB breaks. Having given it so much criticism, I should note that it handles multitasking very smoothly, and that the HPTrueVision web cam is of decent quality. The HPQuickWeb interface included in the box is a gimmick - disable it immediately! The 3030TX is a reasonable all-round PC.
