  | Canon 1000D Twin Lens Kit D. H. on 07.01.2009 I've had my 1000D for a little over a month now and have used in in full point and shoot mode, full manual and all styles in between and have been impressed with the picture quality this low end camera produces. It focussing is very fast, particularly helpful when using it for sports photography, as is it's shutter release speed - I've found myself being too fast for a good shot as I get used to how responsive it is in comparison to my older cameras. The controls are simple and easy to use as are the functions available on it. It's a nice size and weight for full grown hands that have difficulties holding a new compact camera comfortably. I have no doubt I'll have some gripes with it eventually but at the moment I am immensely satisfied with my purchase. Oh, and my microSD card works in it when it's in the SD card adaptor - handy when you have some micro or miniSD cards lying around. |
