Best Entry DSLR for 1000
Kat Savage on 23.09.2011
I've looked quite hard at the specs and lenses available between Pentax, Nikon and Canon before choosing the K-R. There's some massive reasons you should choose this as your entry-level DSLR. 1. Pentax's lens fitting for SLR cameras has not changed since 1975. You can find old lenses and use them in this camera without an adapter. Often, you can find bargain ones in classified ads. 2. Compare the specs of this camera to any other DSLR of the same price. The specs on this camera will be far superior. This camera has a good weight to it, feels sturdy. The auto options are easy to use and the camera is pretty simple to get the hang of. The manual options are also not difficult to get the hang of, which give you a higher control of the final image. This is a camera that you can grow into for a few years if your intent is to get into photography as more than just a weekend hobby. But at the same time, it serves just as well as a weekend hobby camera, too.
