Kevin Conroy will always be THE Batman/Bruce Wayne for me.. Although much applauded, Heath was great as the Joker, though Mark Hamill (of Luke Skywalker fame) is PHENOMENAL as the clown prince of Gotham.. He's dark AND funny.. The of this animated film (starring the voice actors and animation crew of the much acclaimed animated series) is not what many would expect if coming purely from the 'popcorn-movie Batman' It presents a deeply flawed Bruce Wayne, struggling with, not only the Joker and a host of Italian mob-figures, but of all things, happiness and love.. Does he hang up his cowl for the love of a great, intelligent, and more to the point, NOT gold-digging, highly attractive Andrea? Watch it and find out! :) |
