Goku lies battered and nearly beaten, the Dragon Balls have been destroyed, and a new breed of evil looms on the horizon! Frieza, a violent galactic overlord, has discovered the source of the original Dragon Balls, and he'll eagerly destroy anything to harness their wish-granting power.Meanwhile, Vegeta - fully recovered from his humiliating defeat - travels to planet Namek on a mission to intercept Frieza and seize the Dragon Balls for own devious desires.  | Namek, Freiza, and Lots of Vegeta! Goku on 27.12.2011 The first part of Kai moved at a great pace and lived true to its claim of being Dragon Ball Z, remastred, minus the crap bits. If you want more information on the overall experiment of removing the filler (crap bits) see my first review, if you want to know how the story, video, audio, and packaging compare to the first collection, read on. Collection 2 picks up directly after collection 1, Goku and Vegeta are fighting, as the earth trembles under there feet! Releasing Goku (or Kakarot) is actually a match for him, Vegeta transforms to his Great Ape form. Now Goku is being beaten but he is eventually saved by Krillin and Gohan who turn Vegeta back to normal and defeat him, all because of Goku, howver he manages to escape. Goku's friends than want to make there dead friends come back to life so they travel to the Planet Namek, searching for the original Dragon Balls. it turns out Vegeta is also looking for them, and so is his former boss, the evil warlord, Freiza! |
