 | The way Sci-fi Thrillers are meant to be Aaron on 24.06.2011 Eagle Eye is one of those hi-tech assassination movies that got panned by so-called critics yet raved about by the movie going public. The things the critics rubbished Eagle Eye for such as how credible certain scenes would ever be in real life are exactly what Sci-Fi buffs feed on. Sure there are a few holes in the story line that could have been written better and the twist of the movie could have been concealed until a bit later into the film with not much effort, yet it is still a twist most will not see coming until the final scenes of the movie. Critics argue it makes no sense to have the "killer" use 2 members of the public to kill the target rather than the killer doing it themselves (can't say anymore without giving away the plot) but the action has to be seen to be done by someone other than the killer so the storyline does actually make sense. The most memorable part of Eagle Eye is the car chase sequence which is right up there with movies like Ronan. |
