The classic 1964 French Tintin film was the second live-action movie in the series. Based of course an original story based on characters from the cult comic book series The Adventures of Tintin, written and drawn by the Belgian artist Herg , Tintin was famously played by Jean-Pierre Talbot, who also starred as Tintin in the prequel, Tintin and the Golden Fleece. The story is typical Tintin fare, with adventure in exotic places, over-the-top bad guys etc, and has some great comic moments. Fans of the original Tintin cartoons are sure to find something to delight them in The Blue Oranges.
