 | Slows Down, Is Still Good Goku on 30.12.2011 I own and have posted reviews for the previous three Dragon Ball Z Kai DVD Collections and I loved all of them. As such I was really excited for this fourth collection, I was both dissapointed and suprised. Dissapointed because there is 13 episodes here, and every single one is the battle with Freiza, EVERY SINGLE ONE, the pace is to slow and the epic feel is there, but it''s marred by a heavy feel that effects the overall story. Also the story elements here are all downplayed and sped through in favor of action. Freiza's transformations take ages to finish, and when the new form is there it's only on screen for about 15 minutes, before being succeded by yet another one. The action's still good, and the acting for the English dub is great. Goku's Super Saiyan tranformation is EPIC! Overall, Video and audio elements are both great and the same as before. Special features are reduced once again reduced to trailers and opening and closing sequences. Kai is still great, but this collectio |
