Tatsuhiro Satou is 22 years old and NEET (Not in Employment, Education, or Training). He's also a shut-in, or hikikomori. Not even the obnoxiously loud music from next door can snap him out of it and is under the delusion that he is the subject of a conspiracy by the Nihon Hikikomori Kyokai (NHK), a secret organisation whose sole intention is to produce a world filled with hikikomori. The discovery that his music-playing neighbour is a perverted otaku disenchanted with real life, only drags Sato further into his psychological black hole, but offers him an interesting opportunity: he will make a "gal game" (i.e. hentai) as proof that he is a "creator".to try and impress a mysterious girl!
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | It must be a conspiracy! Sam on 02.12.2012 Unlike the madman sets, this contains a cardboard outside which keeps the original keep case, with different box art inside. The series itself is wonderful for those who can relate to it, such as myself. I'm a huge otaku/nerd and watching this was hilarious. For a 24 episode series this is a very quick watch without the unnecessary and low quality filler episodes that you would in most manga adaptations. Welcome to the NHK is good in both Japanese and English and is an anime to be re-watched over and over. |
