Westerburg High School - where it all began. This is a fantastic film, darkly hilarious, bitterly truthful, occasionally moving and always nasty and manipulative like the 3 main "Heathers" - a high school clique who have cheated and bullied their way to the top of high school. A member of the group but nevertheless an outsider, Veronica (Winona Ryder) is disgusted by the awful things that the Heathers do, and actually wants them to die. When she becomes friends with the quiet, nihilistic new kid JD (a menacing Christian Slater) things begin to get serious, and, as Veronica describes it in her diary, her teen angst bullshit gets a body count!
