 | Fantastic, whimsical series Anne Barnett on 25.10.2011 Have seen this twice, once on Foxtel and once on the ABC. Although slightly different, it encapsulates Botswana (especially if you have been there or a lot of places in Africa) and her people. Absolutely love it and have to have! Have rewatched taped episodes but must have the real thing. Characterisation and cinematography is fantastic. Shame Anthony Minghella (Director and also directed THe English Patient, The Talented Mr Riply and lots more) passed away which possibly eliminates another series. |
