Amidst lazy summer days of laser-tag and medieval sword fighting, Gavin Gore and his group of nerdy friends, Hobie, Maynard and Sophie discover what appear to be Bigfoot tracks while hiking in the woods near Gavin's house. Now, as a media frenzy erupts, this crew of outcasts finds themselves to be very popular! Not only are they the prime witnesses for quirky police officer Chillcut's investigation, they also become prime targets for a gang of neighbourhood bullies.Everyone has gone bananas for Bigfoot. Even world-famous Bigfoot expert Dr Artimus Snodgrass, a pretentious, over-the-top scientist, is on his way to verify the legitimacy of the bewildering tracks.Meanwhile, Gavin's metal-rocking, beer-drinking neighbour, Zerk and his slow-witted sidekick Shirts - who are actually responsible for the fake footprint - execute their ingenious plot to raise the cash they need in order to pay off their credit card debts. With BIG quantities of plaster-cast replicas of the "BIG footprint" to sell on the web, the pair are absolutely convinced that their masterplan is about to pay off BIG-time! However once the clues have been authenticated, their idea, like everything else they've ever done, begins to rapidly and hysterically fall apart.
