What began as a construction-paper film short evolved into a veritable pop-culture phenomenon for Trey Parker and Matt Stone's outrageous animated comedy series SOUTH PARK. Centered around the hilarious misadventures of four potty-mouthed grade-schoolers in the perpetually wintry environs of South Park, Colorado, the series skewers the vagaries of the modern American cultural landscape with politically-incorrect humor and satirical plotlines ranging from homophobia and terrorism to boy bands and talking poo.

When Trey Parker and Matt Stone first created South Park, they figured their first few episodes would be it. But airing station Comedy Central wanted more, so the duo kept coming up with it. Before long, it was clear that not only would one full season be in the works, but a second as well...and, of course, history has shown even more than that. The second season of Comedy Central's all-time highest rated series is now available to own on DVD. Season 2 continues the coming-of-age trials of third graders Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny. There is considerable shock value just in the episode titles alone, among them "Cojoined Fetus Lady," "Merry Christmas, Charlie Manson," and the infamous "Cartman's Mom Is Still a Dirty Slut", in which we wait for the truth to be revealed who Cartman's father is. But mostly, the episodes are just--in Cartman's words--hella funny!
