"My so-Called life" is a realistic mid-nineties teen drama series that takes a look at a 15 year-old girl and her trials and tribulations with being a teenager and dealing with friends, guys, parents and school. Called the first TV show to get adolescence right and a perfect portrayal of imperfect teen hood, this is the epic series that launched the superstar career of actress Claire Danes and served as a role model for many of the teen angst oriented shows on television today. Although the original series aired for less than six months with just 19 episodes, it has gone on to acquire legendary cache.
