Vantage collection includes the following films: Babel, Black Snake Moan, Into the Wild, The Kite Runner, Margot at the Wedding, A Mighty Heart, No Country For Old Men and Year Of the Dog - all in the same box set collection for a great low price!

Babel:
In this mesmerising and emotional film that was shot in three continents and four languages - and traverses both the deeply personal and the explosively political - acclaimed director Alejandro Gonzales Innaritu explores with shattering realism the nature of the barriers that seem to separate humankind. In doing so, he evokes the ancient concept of Babel and questions its modern day implications: the mistaken identities, misunderstandings and missed chances for communication that, though often unseen, drive our contemporary lives.

Black Snake Moan:
In a small Tennessee town, two unlikely souls are about to be lured together at the sticky crossroads between rage and love. Found lying on the side of the road, beaten and nearly dead, is Rae (Christina Ricci), a 22-year-old who has developed a reputation around town for having an insatiable "itch" for sex. Her rescuer is Lazarus (Samuel L Jackson), an ex-blues guitarist who has grown used to life's relentless strains of trouble and sorrow. Desperate for a change himself, Lazarus holds Rae prisoner, and sets out to "cure" her of her wicked ways. But to get to the deep, dark bottom of Rae's mystery, Lazarus will first have to face the demons that reside in both their hearts, especially when Rae's one true love, Ronnie (Justin Timberlake), a Guardsman who was supposed to be headed for Iraq, comes looking for her.

Into The Wild:
After graduating from Emory University in 1992, top student and athlete, Christopher McCandless (Emile Hirsch) abandons his possessions, gives his entire $24,000 savings account to charity and hitchhikes to Alaska to live in the wilderness. Along the way, Christopher encounters a series of characters that shape his life. Based on a true story and the best-selling book by Jon Krakauer.

The Kite Runner:
Based on the novel by Khaled Hosseini, The Kite Runner is a tale of friendship, family, devastating mistakes and redeeming love. In a divided country on the verge of war, two childhood friends, Amir and Hassan, are about to be torn apart forever. It's a glorious afternoon in Kabul and the skies are bursting with the exhilarating joy of a kite-fighting tournament. But in the aftermath of the day's victory, one boy's fearful act of betrayal will mark their lives forever and set in motion an epic quest for redemption. Now, after 20 years of living in America, Amir returns to Afghanistan under the Taliban's iron-fisted rule to face the secrets that still haunt him and take one last daring chance to set things right...

Margot At The Wedding:
From Academy Award nomiated writer/director Noah Baumbach (The Squid and the Whale) comes a daringly funny and bracingly honest exploration of the tender, absurd and sometimes excruciating relationship between siblings. "Played with an uncompromising fearlessness" by Academy Award winner Nicole Kidman and Golden Globe nominee Jennifer Jason Leigh, this nakedly honest film lays bare all aspects of the human comedy. Margot (Nicole Kidman), a savagely bright, razor-tongued short-story writer who creates chaos wherever she goes, sets off on a surprise journey to the wedding of her estranged and free-spirited sister Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh). Margot, with her son Claude (Zane Pais) in tow, arrives with the force of a hurricane. From the minute she meets Pauline's fiance - the unemployed artist Malcolm (Jack Black) - Margot starts to plant seeds of doubt about the union.

A Mighty Heart: On January 23, 2002, Mariane Pearl's world changed forever. Her husband, Daniel, South Asia bureau chief for the Wall Street Journal, was researching a story on shoe bomber, Richard Reid. The story drew them to Karachi where a go-between had promised access to an elusive source. As Danny left for the meeting, he told Mariane he might be late for dinner. He never returned. In the face of death, Danny's spirit of defiance and his unflinching belief in the power of journalism led Mariane to write about his disappearance, the intense effort to find him and his eventual murder in her memoir, A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl. Six months pregnant when the ordeal began, she was carrying a son that Danny hoped to name Adam. She wrote the book to introduce Adam to the father he would never meet. Transcending religion, race and nationality, Mariane's courageous desire to rise above the bitterness and hatred that continues to plague this post 9/11 world serves as the purest expression of the joy of love she and Danny shared.

No Country For Old Men:
Llewelyn Moss (Josh Brolin) finds a pickup truck surrounded by a sentry of dead men with a load of heroin and two million dollars in cash still in the back. When Moss takes the money, he sets off a chain reaction of catastrophic violence that not even the law - in the person of aging, disillusioned Sheriff Bell (Tommy Lee Jones) - can contain. As Moss tries to evade his pursuers - in particular a mysterious mastermind who flips coins for human lives (Javier Bardem) - the film simultaneously strips down the American crime drama and broadens its concerns to encompass themes as ancient as the Bible and as bloodily contemporary as this morning's headlines.

Year Of The Dog:
Year of the Dog is a dark comedy drama that centres on Peggy (Molly Shannon), a happy-go-lucky secretary who is a great friend, employee, and sister who lives alone with her adorable beagle, Pencil. But when Pencil unexpectedly dies, Peggy must embark on a journey of personal transformation that is hilarious, poignant and heartbreaking.
