it all started with a book. necrinomicon exmote's. which roughly translated means book of the dead. the book has the power to bring forth unimaginable evil. army of darkness picks up straight after the end of evil dead 2 except he is believed to be one of henries knights ( another army who is at war with king arthur's men) and is thrown into a pit. After using his chainsaw to hack and slash away at some deadites (zombies) all of the kings men believe he is the god written about in the ancient book. one destined to fall from the heavens and rescue them from the domination of the deadites. but he couldnt care less. all he wants is to get back to his own time. and to do so, he needs to retrieve the book of the dead from its resting place. but he has to say mystical words before taking the book otherwise it will awaken the spirits in the book and kill them all. but when he finally gets to the books resting place. he forgets the words. so he is forced to protect the kingdom from the army
