When a meteorite happens to crash-land nearby, samantha is plagued by bizarre visions telling of the universe's end and it appears that their breakdown was part of some grander plan. When she finds out she was actually adopted by the darkos, and that she is in no way related to donnie, she must face her own demons and, in doing so, save the world and herself.

Avoid This.

J. Darko. on 30.10.2011

I' am a huge fan on the original movie, however, I was a little excited and nervous when they announced a sequel. Daveigh Chase returns as Sam Darko. Who's family has fallen apart within the 10yrs of Donnie's death. This film was made by fan to try and please the fans, but, it only becomes a jumbled mess - taking elements from the original movie and completely failing. Avoid this movie, Donnie Darko is a stand-alone-film, not a franchise.
