![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Great Movie Michelle on 15.01.2012 This movie is riveting from the start. I didn't realise that Ryan Gosling could act until this movie. The brooding way that Ryan carries off the main character is poignant and the action is definitely fast paced. I don’t usually watch action movies but can say that there is a great story line that keeps you guessing the whole way through: so definitely not predictable. Yes it was a bit gruesome in parts but it is in keeping with what was happening with the character. Pass the tomato sauce! I want to see it again!! |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | A cult classic in the making. Hamish McGregor on 15.02.2012 This is a movie for fans of classic set ups and car chases. It blends an 80's charm with a modern grounding. Taking place In LA. Yet never portraying the city in it's cliche stereotypical image, like it has been in many other films. It's more an off the beaten track, kind of a love story. Between Irene (Carey Mulligan) and our nameless hero, displaying the true acting talent of Ryan Gosling. This movie proves it has a deep soul, wrapped around a gritty, harsh, reality. A compelling story of the small lives of people and it's twists and turns. It seems that the simplest things we want in our lives are never as easy as they appear in reality. This is a must have for people who want more than just action in their movies. |
