Dorothy the Dinosaur is very excited because Captain Feathersword has found a message in the bottle from Santa Claus! The message says that Santa is coming to visit Dorothy for a special Christmas party before he delivers presents to the children all around the world.
Unfortunately, the message in the bottle got wet while floating in the ocean and so the Captain can’t read the full message and doesn’t know exactly when Santa is coming. They sing a song together (One, Two, Three, Four, Five), then Captain tells Dorothy to wait inside her house while he will keep a look out for Santa and his elves arrival. The Captain falls asleep while waiting but is woken by two of Santa’s elves, Fernie and Poppie. The elves tell Captain Feathersword that Santa is certainly on his way!
Fernie and Poppie then announce a special guest with the arrival of Santa’s rock ‘n’ roll elf, Elfis! Dressed in a Christmas green jumpsuit, Elfis is a hip shakin’, cool rockin’ elf who has come to entertain at the party. They sing and dance to Shaky Shaky and then It Must Be Santa. The Christmas party continues with everyone decorating the tree and then singing Go Santa Go to celebrate the arrival of Santa Claus.
Captain Feathersword and Wags the Dog decide to play a trick on Dorothy and pretend to be reindeer by wearing some antlers. Dorothy is not fooled by their trick and she gives the Captain and Wags straw to eat so that when they can’t eat the straw they are unveiled!
Santa has brought presents for Dorothy (a Christmas tutu) and some keys for Captain Feathersword. Santa explains that the keys are for Captain to shake to make the sound of the bells on his sleigh and then they sing Jingle Bells. Dorothy puts on her tutu and asks everyone to Sing with Me and then Elfis returns for his special song that he dedicates to Santa, Rockin Santa! The Christmas party is in full swing and all of Dorothy’s friends have joined her to celebrate with Santa Claus and some of his special elves!
