In the world of FOSTER'S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS, once a kid dreams up a new companion, it becomes real and visible to everyone else. And while Imaginary Friends are seen on the streets every day, it doesn't mean that everyone loves them. Sometimes kids outgrow their Imaginary Friends. Sometimes a kid moves and becomes separated from his pal. Some Imaginary Friends weren't very good ideas to begin with. And every once in a while, a parent will force a kid to give up his Imaginary Friend before he's ready to do so.
