Set on a tropical fantasy island, each episode sees Captain Cook (Kevin Woodford), guide three young Cook Cadets as they create and invent fun food against the clock. Captain Cook provides the culinary skill but relies on Bouma (Dave Benson-Philips), who just happens to be a magical yeti, to add a sprinkling of his own unique magic. TV personality, RUBY WAX is the voice of super computer, Roxy, whose 'Info-Bites' form the creative themes of individual episodes. Planet Cook reaches Planet Earth at a crucial time for food. Recent concerns over children's and adult's lifestyle choices including food, drink, exercise and our general well being are now at the top of the national and international agenda. Each recipe in the show has been analysed by independent, qualified nutritionists to fit within the context of a balanced, healthy diet.
