Warp Films present a kaleidoscopic journey into the parallel musical universe of cult music festival All Tomorrow's Parties, featuring a veritable who's who of the indie music world.

In an out-of-season holiday camp on the coast of England, All Tomorrow's Parties serves up a heady combination of alternative music, crazy golf and chalet-living; all curated by a single band or artist. This post-punk DIY bricolage uses material generated by the fans and musicians themselves, on a multitude of formats including Super8, camcorder and mobile phone material, over the history of the festival, to capture the uncompromising spirit of this unique festival.

The All Tomorrow's Parties organization was founded in 1999 in preparation for the first festival, the lineup of which was curated by Mogwai and took place in the unusual setting of Pontins Holiday Camp, Camber Sands. Since then the festival has taken place every year (including having come to Australia), and continues to set itself apart from others like Reading or Glastonbury by staying intimate, un-corporate and fan-friendly. Another vital difference is that the line-ups are chosen by significant bands or artists, resulting in unpredictable and exciting events which combine performances by legendary and influential acts. Artists featured include Belle And Sebastian, Grizzly Bear, Sonic Youth, Battles, Portishead, Daniel Johnston, Grinderman, David Cross, Animal Collective, The Boredoms, Les Savy Fav, Mogwai, Octopus Project, Slint, The Dirty Three, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, the Gossip, GZA, Seasick Steve, Iggy and the Stooges, A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Fuck Buttons, Micah P Hinson, Two Gallants, Akron/Family, Jah Shaka, Saul Williams, Shellac, Patti Smith, John Cooper Clarke. Excellent DIY documentary on the much-loved All Tomorrow's Parties alternative music festival that has also been to Australia. The release is slipcased and has a 40 page booklet.
