Australia's most beloved band Powderfinger is in the midst of their Sunsets Farewell Tour, their most extensive tour of Australia ever and sadly their last. Over 300,000 tickets have already been sold across 34 shows in 21 different cities, resulting in a whopping 28 sold out shows so far. With only a handful of shows around the country still having tickets available, it seems that many unlucky fans missed out on their opportunity to farewell this iconic Aussie band. But while the sun is indeed setting, there are still a few rays of sunshine on the horizon. The Sunsets Farewell Tour kicked off in Newcastle on September 1 and come November 13 at the Riverstage in the bands hometown of Brisbane, the curtain will drop on the bands remarkable career.
