Motorcycle racing in Australia began around 1901. Two unknown riders with primitive machines, little more than bicycles with engines slung in them, decided to see who was the fastest. From the early origins, to modern time, motorcycles and their daredevils riders have formed a integral part of the Australian culture. Each chapter of this exciting story, told through rare film footage and photographs, is enriched by commentary from experts Jim Scaysbrook, Rod Sayward and motorcycling greats including Australian champions Maurie Quincey, Bert Flood, Max "Atom" Rathbone, Linsey Erkert, Ray Owen and international speedway star Neil Tret.
