This first volume begins with the reinvigoration of the McKinley high School glee club by idealistic Spanish teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison). Mr. Shu, as his students call him, was a member of the glee club back in its award-winning heyday, and he wants to return the club to its former glory.
