THE PUBLIC RELATIONS COURSE: After losing his job with the water board Frank decides to attend a public relations course - and relations deteriorate. A role-play exercise goes horribly wrong and Frank is given his marching orders.
FRANK AND MARVIN: Betty breaks the news to Frank that there may be a "little addition" to the family and the impetus to gain employment is stronger than ever. An interview at a holiday camp sees Frank demonstrating his many talents.
FATHERS' CLINIC: Frank is preparing for fatherhood but a slight misunderstanding with one of the women attendees results in chaos. A spot of roller-skating is thought to be a good way of entertaining Betty's nieces - until he builds up a little too much speed.
THE BABY ARRIVES: The great day has at last arrived, but after a series of false alarms, the patience of the medical profession is wearing thin. Finally the Spencer child is born - but Frank is so overcome he passes out on the delivery room floor.
