Spider-Man: Battle for New York City takes it's cues from last year's Ultimate Spider-Man with both style and gameplay and promises to be a welcome addition to the DS's growing fall line-up.The game is based on Marvel's "Ultimate" universe, where Spidey's still a teenager and the Green Goblin is a mutated monster instead of a guy in a rubber mask. The Goblin has escaped and is hiding out in NYC, hooking up with a collection of Spidey's toughest villains in a plot to poison the city with his monster-making drug Oz. It's fun superhero stuff -- lots of threatened citizens to save and a never-ending supply of bad guys to pound on.
