  | Far Cry 2 Review Jay on 09.12.2011 It has nice graphics, but I didn't like that the player has to unjam their guns frequently (this only happened to me when I used the enemies' guns rather than when I bought new guns in the in-game shop with the in-game diamond currency). I also didn't like that the player doesn't have Cryvision in this game like they have in Far Cry and instead of having binoculars, they have a monocle, the binoculars are way better in my opinion. I can't reasonably comment overall on the storyline in Far Cry 2 but I have read that it is a completely separate storyline to the one in Far Cry, instead of being an extension of the storyline in Far Cry. The reason that I can't fairly comment on the storyline in Far Cry 2 is because I only played the game for a few hours and then decided to stop playing it because I didn't find it fun to play (I decided to stop playing the game a few months ago).
