Overview
Engineer Isaac Clarke returns in Dead Space 2 for another blood-curdling adventure in the sequel to the critically acclaimed Dead Space.
After waking from a coma on a massive space city known as "The Sprawl", the lone survivor of a horrific alien infestation finds himself confronting a catastrophic new nightmare. Battling dementia, hunted by the government, and haunted by visions of his dead girlfriend, Isaac will do whatever it takes to save himself and dominate the gruesome onslaught.
With an arsenal of tools to dismember Necromorphs and new determination, an engineer will bring the terror to space.
New tools to gruesomely slice and dismember the Necromorphs complement Isaac's signature Plasma Cutter, empowering him as he meets new characters, explores epic Zero-G environments, and fights against a relentless necromorph onslaught.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | DS2 Review G02 Fret King on 31.12.2011 When I purchased Dead Space, I had no idea what I was in for. It was a tense, atmospheric, chilling game. Towards the end though, it just became another shooter. Dead Space 2 is a completely different story. Set 3 years after DS1, Issac Clarke awakes on the sprawl to find that it has turned into another lliving nightmare. The necromorphs are back and deadlier than ever. The core gameplay hasn't changed. The unconventional HUD on Issac's back is still there and he is also being haunted by images of his dead girlfriend. Dismembering the necromorphs is still satisfying and the gore is upped from the first one. The scares are also intensified... you will be frightened... you will be scared... you will have nightmares. A new edition to the game is multiplayer. This is a fun edition, with two teams, one human, one necromorph. The human team has to complete a set of objectives in a tight time limit, while the necromorph team tries to stop them. |
