Whether you’re watching HDTV, Blu-ray disc movie or listening to music from your iPod, the VSX-519V ensures that what you see and hear is pure and precise.
With an HDMI Repeater, a single HDMI cable is all you need to transfer both video and audio digitally to the receiver. Connect via HDMI to a Pioneer Blu-ray player and the VSX-519V will decode LPCM uncompressed HD audio from the latest Blu-ray blockbuster movies, filling your living space with HD audio to make the picture.
Punching out 125W of power across 5.1 channels, the VSX-519V will drive powerful and precise sound from your HDTV, Blu-ray and DVD player, as well as your CD player, VCR machine, gaming console, not to mention a portable digital music player via the portable audio input jack.
The VSX-519V also handles popular surround sound technologies, such as Dolby Digital, DTS 96/24, Pro Logic II Decoders, Multi PCM playback via HDMI, as well as Advance Surround and Advance Game modes.
Video signals up to 1080p are supported, as well as x.v.Colour and Deep Colour for vibrant, lifelike colours with smooth gradient transitions, whereas a Lip Sync function ensures synchronised audio and video playback, matching lip movements with voices.
Expanding your musical entertainment throughout the home, the VSX-519V features a multi-room audio pre-out, which enables you to connect the VSX-519V receiver to another audio product within the second zone and then power the audio from the VSX-519V into another room simultaneously.
We have integrated our Advanced Sound Retriever to enhance the sound quality of compressed media. The Advanced Sound Retriever greatly improves sound reproduction, restoring the critical audio data that is often removed from a compressed audio file.
Volume levels can fluctuate across digital audio tracks (i.e. MP3 and iPod), input sources and even television channels and commercials, causing disruptive entertainment. Our Auto Level Control equalises the volume of all sources and formats for consistent listening from all entertainment.
