The HD 280 PRO are closed-back, circumaural headphones designed for professional monitoring applications. Although suitable for a very wide range of applications, the exceptional 32 dB attenuation of external noise makes the HD 280 PRO particularly useful for use in a high-noise environment.

 | worthwhile investment Asterisk on 01.04.2012 Pro: great sound on all levels, coiled cord, solid built, multi-directional flexibility (fold up, adapt to head), insulates from outside noise very well, grips tight but can wear for hours, 2 year warranty, durable + non-sticky cable. cons: have to open up to replace cord if needed (though that does have a manual). These might be expensive, but here me out (and ask for a deal). When you buy earphones you are looking at two things. Firstly there is the speaker capability and the quality of sounds that it produces. Secondly, there is the features, such as what materials and technologies it sports. I was originally looking at a mid-range pair of sennheiser and decided to head in and try a few pairs on. It was suprising that price didn't dictate quality. Even the lostest 40 dollar pair of sennheiser were actually pretty good. Thus I tried on the 280's: these guys ooze a professional style and design and don't disappoint. |
