This is POWERFUL

MASSIVE and DEEP sound. This thing has an attitude. You wont say that it is not powerful enough. This is gonna BANG like no woofer has banged before - rap sounds FANTASTIC and bass is clean and accurate. WARNING! Do not listen too loud. My ears start to hurt after 20 min at 30% volume. BUY IT!

A lot of Oomph in a small box

The Dali Concept Sub is a very decent active subwoofer, especially considering its size and price-level. It is a very sturdy design, placed on four spikes to minimise interference with the floor. It drives the sound directly from an exposed woofer, as oposed to a bass-reflex design. Where-as this has no negative impact on the sound produced, it does leave te woofer exposed to damage, especially if you have kids or pets. There are very wide ranges of sub-woofers on the market, from entry-level to very high end. Any sounds below the 200hz are primarily driven by the room acoustics, rather than the quality of the speakers. It therefore seems to be futile to spend 3 to 4 thousand dollars on a subwoofer, when you should be spending on the room acoustics, subwoofer placement, and if you have the possibilty - equalisation for room correction. I would recommend the Dali Concept Sub for providing excellent value for money as a good multi-purpose subwoofer.

My Setup includes Dali Concept 6 Floor standing, Dali Concept 1's as rears, with a Jensen Centre. I bought the Dali Concept Sub to accompany my setup as prior to this I was using a Sony 40w subby. When I added the Dali Concept sub- it was a huge difference. This Sub is absolutly great and gauranteed to Rock your Head Off. I cant recommend a better subby than this. Totally awesome you cant go wrong.
