Great value and sound

I was looking for a 5.1 system mainly for music and was deciding between the pioneer and the Yamaha. I ended up choosing the Yamaha since their better for music reproduction. The sound quality is great especially coming from a compact system with each speaker delivering great highs and mid ranges. What impressed me most however, was the subwoofer. The 6.5" compact sub managed to deliver deep powerful bass which i wasn't expecting. Although one problem i have with the sub is at very high volume where the bass seems to drop at a certain point but unless you want your neighbors listening to your music it shouldn't really be a problem. Overall i am happy with my purchase and at this price it is great value for a respected brand.
