i agree with all your comments this pvr is terrible! I exchanged it for a new one, and it was the same rubbish. Do not buy!!

Soniq T1000 does not save recorded programs with the shows Title.

I have purchased my first PVR in January and am disappointed to find that the file name of the recorded programs do not save as the shows Title. This PVR is 1TB so finding recorded programs after time will be quite hard to find. I will now need to keep a manual listing of everything I record, which is ridiculous. I would not recommend this product to anyone. No wonder this is so cheap! Buyer beware

I bought the 1TB Soniq PVR from JB. Safe to say I will never again buy a Soniq product! This device does not record programs through the EPG. I have downloaded the firmware upgrades and still no better! A complete waste of money... Next time I'm going elsewhere!

Other Soniq products are cheap but OK - however this is dysfunctional. No ability to name titles - no ability to program more than 6 days in advance - if you turn to stanby during a recording the recoding fails with no warning - can only view recording schedule channel by channel - if turned to standby tv antenna passthrough so cant watch tv - need I go on .... Do your resesarch and dont waste your money on an impulse like I did.

Great data storage but it records programs as channel date and time rather than the title so its hard to find what you are looking for. A way around it is to record to USB and then rename thme on the computer then copy them back onto the PVR but its somewhat time consuming and not worth the effort. I wouldn't recommend this PVR.
