![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Not for those who appreciate quality audio Jarrad on 09.10.2012 I bought this iPod thinking it would be the perfect thing to hold my music collection. I assumed that a $268 product that can only play music would be really good at that; I was wrong. The audio quality was horrendous. My high-bitrate songs were compressed sounding and flat, and the terrible EQs made many songs peak and crackle. This was not my particular one, either. I got it replaced, and the second was just as bad. The sound card in this device is terrible, and not for those of us who can tell the difference between quality and mediocre sound reproduction. As well as this, the hard-drives continually seized up on both of them, even when sitting still on my desk. If you're only looking for lots of space, go ahead. But if you're NOT deaf, buy something else - ie, iRiver S100 and 32GB microSD card. TL;DR - Crap audio and HDD |
