The DAB radio is brilliant.
so far this is the best

DAB+ experience from S100 is wonderful. Definitely better sound more stations! Not only shows you the name of song and artist, but also shows weather forecast, news even and some artists' photo albums as long as the radio station is broadcasting.(like Mix, Koffee.) Reception is not a problem in Adelaide. Only a little issue with PC software side "iRiver plus" is not easy to manage. It would like to do a lot but the user interface is not friendly enough. So I use copy and paste more often.
Digital Radio with "benefits"

I primarily bought the S100 for the DAB+ feature which is about at good as its going to get. Reception around my town (Brisbane) is faultless, but as you get out to the burbs (14kms), your listening experience may get patchy depending on where you live. This is not due to the S100, but the flakey DAB broadcast signal itself. The only annoyance here is that once S100 loses the signal of certain stations it drops them from the viewable list and they won't reappear until you rescan them in once the signal is strong. The other benefits of the S100 more than outweigh this minor glitch including high quality video, nifty flash games to pass the time and most importantly dead easy drag & drop of mp3 files from your PC or Mac with no 3rd party apps required.
Iriver S100 - dissapointing on 22.03.2012
Dreadful. DAB reception poor (Melbourne suburbs). Software dreadful. Confusing, not intuitive. Does NOT play MP4's ("this file format not supported") This is not a working product. Promises lost but just does not deliver. Avoid and save yourself the frustration and dissapointment.
