A rare album from one of the great soul/gospel singers, who toured Australia recently. Released by Curtom Records in 1977, 'A Piece Of The Action' was the soundtrack to the film starring Sidney Poitier and Bill Cosby, and like several other soundtrack albums which Curtom released in the Seventies, it was produced by Curtis Mayfield, who also wrote all the songs.
