You Am I have been Australia's most loved and internationally revered touring rock 'n' roll machine since the mid nineties. THE CREAM AND THE CROCK will be presented over two discs- the first collating all of You Am I's singles spanning their entire career and the second will throw a spotlight on the bands unmistakable charm by highlighting personal favourites including oddities and rarities not to mention a slew of unreleased tracks. A must for You Am I fans. -

Jet. The Vines. Silverchair. What do these bands (to name but just a few) have in common?
1: They stole a fair bunch of their chops and a whole lot of inspiration from Tim Rogers
2: They've sold more records than You Am I ever will in a LOT less time and
3: They're really not fit to shine Tim Rogers' shoes.
Life is cruel like that sometimes - Australia's BEST rock n roll band for at least 20 years have finally put together a 'Best Of' (or at least a collection of their singles) so that the casual listener can be reminded of how good these guys are. Berlin Chair, Cathy's Clown, Rumble, Get Up, Heavy Heart...all classics already to name only some of the gems here. I may be overstating the fact but if rock is the bible, then Tim Rogers is certainly one of the 12 disciples - praise be to him!
