Doris Troy came into Apple via Billy Preston and like Billy and Jackie Lomax, she had a keen supporter in George Harrison. George produced and co-wrote with her, Doris's debut Apple single "Ain't That Cute" first released in February, 1970. A second single "Jacob's Ladder" this time produced by Doris followed in August that year before her album was released in the following month. She had some friends around her including George, Ringo, Klaus Voormann, Jackie Lomax and Stephen Stills and this album is still an absolute gem. All of the bonus tracks have been returned from the previous CD but we have added one more to the 2010 edition - a different take of "All That I've Got (I Am Gonna Give It To You)".
