200 Years is none other than those straw dogs of skull counting (and ?owers!), Ben "Six Organs of Admittance" Chasny and Elisa "Magic Markers" Ambrogio. Sonically, it's basically Ben and Elisa with guitars, Elisa's voice, Ben's guitar alone, the breath of a harmonium, the faintest strains of piano. The sonic result is a beautiful mix of balladry and psychedelic folk excursions. Nice work, and more than the mere sum of its parts.
