The Australian edition of "Bring Me The Workhorse" includes the bonus disc album "Tear It Down".
"Tear It Down" reworks songs from the highly acclaimed album, Bring Me The Workhorse featuring tracks by Alias, Lusine, Murcof, Stakka and Gold Chains. The remixes range from drum-n-bass, to glitchy ambient, minimalism, and get-your-booty-on-the-dance-floor club music.
My Brightest Diamond is Shara Worden, a trained opera singer turned pop songwriter whose debut gathers all the essential elements of classical and pop to create an album that begins to break down the barriers of both worlds. These songs are simultaneously gentle and urgent, evoking moments of tremendous joy and sorrow with the magnitude of Italian opera and the modesty of a Japanese haiku. Her songwriting blurs the lines between rock show and recital, and while her vocal lines reach for Puccini, her guitar style is akin to Blonde Redhead or PJ Harvey. When Shara is not working as My Brightest Diamond, she is the guitarist and backing vocalist with Sufjan Stevens. And on his upcoming tour in January she will be a member of the band and also opening the shows as My Brightest Diamond.
