Legendary for their theme to the most famous surfing movie of the 60s, Bruce Brown's The Endless Summer, the music of crack Californian instrumental outfit THE SANDALS complemented the scenes of two carefree surfers looking for the perfect wave. However there was more to the outfit than that indelible theme. Apart from a second film soundtrack, The Last Of The Ski Bums, and the motorbike-related instrumentals on their Scrambler album, they also recorded non-LP singles, such as the vocal pop 'Tell Us Dylan'. Under the guidance of surf music expert Stephen J. McParland, Raven has brought together every known recording by the group in the 60s - almost all of which have never been issued on CD, 31 in total. Includes a deluxe 12-page book with detailed notes.
