Nantes (pronounced Narnts) began recording as a band in 2011. Their self-titled debut EP released that same year included two hit singles; "Fly" and “Charlie”. “Fly” became an instant anthem and spread the word worldwide, turning up on radio playlists in the UK and the US. The success of “Fly” set the bar high for this new band from Sydney. In between tours and during a dedicated period at the end of 2012, Nantes recorded songs for their debut album.
